Catherine Zollars, PharmD
PIC, Pharmacy Manager
After graduating from the SIUE School of Pharmacy in 2015, Catherine first stepped into the pharmacy profession for a small independent pharmacy chain in Greene County, Illinois. She worked hard with local providers and the in-town hospital to champion pharmacy health services for her community. Her work has spanned across many services including immunizations, telepharmacy, health fairs, pharmacy and therapeutics committees, local CEO programs, mentorship, opioid epidemic education and much more.
At the beginning of 2019, Catherine joined her brother at Maryville Pharmacy working along the former owner Gary Ceretto. While learning the ways of Maryville Pharmacy, she helped lead the Illinois Pharmacy Association’s New Practitioner Network and was nationally recognized for it. She also encourages entrepreneurship within the pharmacy school communities by leading the Illinois Pharmacy Association’s annual Business Plan Competition. In October 2019, Catherine and her family bought the pharmacy to provide the same kind of clinical services she performed at her last experience in the Metro East.
Since then, Harry and Catherine have been working hard through the COVID pandemic and beyond to continue the Maryville Pharmacy legacy into the next generation, continuing the small town feel and personal connection Gary created along with updated services and more opportunities for our pharmacy to help a larger community.
